    The issue of rape by deception has been contentious in terms of determining if it is
    actually a legal criminal offence or not. In 1984, Jacqui met an undercover agent named Bob
    Lambert who was posing as a Bob Robinson. Bob was working as an animal rights activist
    whilst in the real sense he was an undercover agent for the Special Demonstration Squad (SDS).
    One year later Jacqui became pregnant with her first born and Lambert appeared to be supportive
    of the pregnancy. However, Bob disappeared from Jacqui’s life soon after the baby was born and
    it was only in 2012 that Jacqui learnt that Bob was actually an undercover agent. Jacqui came to
    learn of Bob’s true identity after she spotted his name in the newspaper. Jacqui said in an
    interview that, "I was not consenting to sleeping with Bob Lambert, I didn't know who Bob
    Lambert was. I had a spy living with me, sleeping with me, making a family with me, and I
    didn't do anything to deserve that." Jacqui consented to having sex with Bob (Lambert or
